Compulsive shopper, hat hoarder, and other habits, oh, and I also have super long eye lashes. Yes everyone, I have started a blog about my fashion endeavors. How do I afford to buy new clothes every week though? Side note: I am POOR. Due to my unfortunate circumstances of having to "adult" here in this beautiful city of San Diego, instead of being a "stay-at-home daughter", all of my "moolah" ends up going to bills, as I am sure most of all your money goes to as well. Therefore, I have indeed come up with a solution to my "I need new clothes" thoughts that are constantly swirling around my brain, and I would preferably like these clothes for FREE, kthanksuniverse. But really, I have bought what probably would have been hundreds of dollars on clothes, but did not spend a dime of my own money. Although other individuals that are NOT me came up with the idea of selling your older "gently used" clothing to give you credit towards new clothing, it is now not just my job, but part of my lifestyle. I am a clothing Buyer for a secondhand store, and it has been very eye-opening. Not only has working for a secondhand store magnified how much money people spend on buying their clothes at "retail" price, aka, in a department store, stores in the mall, etc, but now I am also super green for "buying" used clothes, and also selling MY clothes, go me! (and go YOU hopefully, if you find some inspiration from these posts!).

As I post on, I will be sharing super awesome things I buy, experience, see, and photograph. If you saw the YouTube video I posted awhile back, you may already know what the vibe of my blog will be. Nonetheless, I have decided that I want to share favorites within my wardrobe, cool finds, pictures and other habits of mine through this blog, and not create a full blown YouTube channel just yet.

Anyways, I know what some of you may be thinking, "I don't have any clothes to sell", "my local secondhand store did not take any of my clothing". Well, I can help, but it will require you to not have any sentimental feelings towards any piece of clothing you have, or that you can see yourself wearing. As Marie Kondo, author of "The Life-changing Magic of Tidying Up", BASICALLY said, in her own words though, if it does not make you happy anymore, get rid of it. Smart gal. Back to the clothes now. Fashion is forever changing, and so should your wardrobe. You do not need that jacket from 4 winters ago, or those jeans you bought one summer that you thought you could lose 5 pounds to fit into, trust me. As far as selling clothes go, your local shop is probably going to want those items you are still feelin' some love towards, but thats okay, because we both know you've already worn those items at least 10 times already. However, if you haven't worn them, well, throw those pieces in your bag of items to sell, because if you haven't worn it yet, no matter how cute you think it is, you're never gunna'. YOU NEED NEW STUFF. One test that I like to give myself when I buy something new is that if I do not wear it within the first 48 hours of purchasing it, I sell it back, because I clearly wasn't that stoked about it. This keeps my wardrobe lookin' fresh and decluttered.

Now that you've had a teeny taste of what the future holds for this blog, here is a picture of me wearing a shirt of what I order every time I'm blessed with In-N-Out. Enjoy.

xoxo
